Kindergarten
The Kindergarten with Ace and Christi program is a full-year kindergarten program
featuring a complete scope and sequence of concepts and skills needed to prepare
K3-K5 children to read. After having taken the ABCs with Ace and
Christi Reading Readiness Test and the Coordination Development Tests, five-year-old
children who are entering kindergarten, and any children who are diagnosed "NOT
ready to read," should be enrolled in the Kindergarten program for a full year.
Sixty PACEs (2,000 pages) filled with Bible and animal pictures,
coordination development activities, and full-color picture stories encourage a
love for reading. A child learns the phonetic sounds for all letters so that when
he is ready to learn to read, he will do so. He will also learn social skills, the
wonders of God's world, and the reality of God's love.

PACE - Each booklet or unit of Accelerated Christian
Education curriculum is referred to as a PACE; there are twelve units to one year
of subject material. Students will complete 12 PACEs in each core subject (math,
English, social studies, science, and Word Building) in conjunction with the program.
Order one of each PACE for every student. (Note: One set of these PACEs is a component
of the Home Educator's Kindergarten Kit.)
As the parent/teacher of a kindergarten student, it is recommended
that you complete the Reading Systems Training PACE, which covers information
needed to set up and administer a Kindergarten Learning Center as contained
in the General Information section of the Daily Instructional Manual - Volume I.
